RAAF Mark V Bristol Beaufort, A9-47 (RAF Serial No. T9599), crash landed at East Sale in Victoria on 5 March 1943 when the starboard tyre blew out and the undercarriage collapsed.

The crew for this flight were:-

Sgt. G.N. ( or G.W.) Parker (415439)
Sgt. L.B. Watson

Sgt. J. Perrin

The same aircraft crashed again on 28 June 1944 when it swung to port on landing at 1 OTU at East Sale and ran over some rough ground and hit a drain. The pilot at the time was Flight Sergeant M.H. Hazelwood.

This aircraft was originally delivered to the RAAF in May 1942. It was "not taken up".
