Bristol Beaufort
RAAF Bristol Beaufort, Mark V, A9-1 (RAF Serial No. T9540), overshot Bairnsdale flare path on 29 September 1942 and crashed through the boundary fence. This aircraft was the first Australian built Beaufort and had its first flight in August 1941. It was delivered to the RAAF in September 1941. It was written off after the accident.
