I have heard vague comments of the existence of a radar station at Stafford in Brisbane during WW2. The only indication that I have so far found is mention of a Stafford Radar site in the Commonwealth Archives database and the following entry in the Brisbane Military Telephone Directory for May 1944:-

Direction Finding:
    Major Brown, H.W.     126 R.I. Co.

Can anyone help with some information on the Stafford Radar site?
