CRASH OF A SPITFIRE
AT KALGOORLIE, WA
ON ABOUT 6 OCTOBER 1945

RAAF Spitfire A58-223, of 85 Squadron RAAF, piloted by F/Sgt Lloyd crashed while landing at Kalgoorlie airfield on about the 6 October 1945. F/Sgt Lloyd was uninjured and the damage to the aircraft as not recorded.
