CRASH OF A C-56
AT GARBUTT AIRFIELD

On 26 February 1943, Australian National Airways (ANA) C-56, VH-CAJ, LT9-24, crashed at Garbutt Airfield in Townsville when its undercarriage collapsed while landing causing a violent ground loop.
