AT COOKTOWN
ON 23 SEPTEMBER 1942

visits since 2 June 2000

On 23 September 1942, a USAAF DC-2, #44-83226, VH-CXG, C 32A, c/n 1375, of the 22nd Troop Carrier Squadron of the 374th Troop Carrier Group, was damaged at Cooktown. Cause unknown. It was sent to ANA for spares. Another source indicates that it was subsequently rebuilt.
