CRASH OF A VULTEE VENGEANCE
AT BATCHELOR, NT

Vultee Vengeance

At 1100 hours, on 30 May 1943, Vultee Vengeance A27-218 of 12 Squadron RAAF, crash landed on the runway at Batchelor airfield. It lost power and stalled after taking off. The crew of Flight Sergeant K.B. Morgan and Pilot Officer P.M. Corney survived this accident.
