The Mildura Branch of the RAAF Association has established the 2OTU RAAF Air Museum in Mildura, Victoria. It is in the premises previously used by No. 2 Operational Training Unit (2 OTU). The Museum is managed and staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers. The Museum was officially opened on 17 November 2001.

Mick Loeckenhoff is the Secretary of the Mildura Branch of the RAAF Association.

The Museum is located at 34 Kavav Avenue, Mildura, Victoria 3500.

The Museum Curator, Mack Wright, can be contacted on (03) 5022 7691 or (03) 5023 1966.

The Museum is open to the public every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 10am till 4pm.

The cost is $5 per adult, $3 for seniors or children and $10 for families.

It is planned to develop a picnic area near the Museum and to source static displays of aircraft that served on the Mildura air  base during WW2. These include P40 Kittyhawks, CAC Boomerangs and Wirraways, Spitfires and P-51 Mustangs. Anyone knowing of parts, of or whole above mentioned aircraft in any condition should contact the Museum by e-mailing the Museum at 2oturaaf@ruralnet.net.au
