My e mail address is ccsrra@speedymail.com. I am trying to find information on the fatal accident of Henry Rubin, my brother-in-law. I have his serial number 161 10 528, if you have any information as to his plane, could you please respond to me.

Thanks

We know very little about him. He is an American Immigrant from Germany, arrived in the States somewhere in the 20's (can't even find the ship they came over on because they changed their spelling of their name when they were naturalized). He was drafted when the war broke out. He never saw combat.

He was in training somewhere in the States. He was being transported to his new assignment when his plane crashed, leaving no survivors. He must have been in his early 30's. I know this doesn't give you much information to go on but hopefully it will be enough. I believe he died in 1946. He was residing in Oakland Michigan, was married and had 2 small sons. Thank you so much for trying to help us.
