Rosewood Bunker during WW2

I have heard many stories about two large steel doors being located in the side of a hill at Rosewood during WW2. I have also heard a story about a two story underground bunker at Rosewood which was in contact with various radar stations in south east Queensland.

Back in the 1930's or 1940's era, Oakleigh open cut mine at Rosewood installed a set of steel explosive doors in the side of a hill called Perries Knob near Rosewood. These doors were apparently used as an escape route in the event or cave-in in the underground workings. Could these have been the same doors?

Can anyone help me with more information on this story?
