There is concrete air raid shelter still half-standing at Hudson Road at Wooloowin in Brisbane opposite the Wooloowin railway station. The shelter is 11.2 metres long by 8.6 metres wide with a wall thickness of 450 mm. The walls above ground level are also angled to assist with limiting bomb blast damage.

Someone had once suggested to me that this may have been the Headquarters for the US Army's 40th Coastal Artillery (CA) Brigade, North-Eastern Anti-aircraft Artillery Command.
