Hello,

Just thought you would like to know of a Boston that crashed just north of Brisbane, the info is as follows, the plane A28-19, crash landed October 1942 in a paddock in Woodford, the plane was heavily damaged and converted to components, I believe there should be a photo in the archives of the local Caboolture news.

Also I know of a Liberator that crashed on takeoff from Amberley airbase (A72-306) it ended up in the creek at the end of the runway where it broke up on impact, photo's can be found in a publication called "From Tocumwal to Tarakan".  Crash happened in August 1945. Thats it for now, I'll have a look through some old files I have and let you know of any more.

Keep up the good work on this interesting site!

Cheers
Gary Oschadlin
