CRASH OF A B-26 MARAUDER AT CHARTERS TOWERS

A B-26 Marauder, aircraft #40-1518, "Cossack", of 408th Squadron, 22nd Bombardment Group, landed with its nose wheel up at Charters Towers on 22 July 1942.  The pilot of this aircraft was Captain Michaelis.
